                                                2010 Photo Hunt

                                                May - July, 2010

                                                This year's Photo Hunt will consist more of a photo challenge.  There will be ten clues/subjects as to what you are to photograph.  The first two clues will be handed out at the upcoming May Club meeting on the 19th.  For those of you that are not able to attend the meeting, do not despair, the clues will go out to all members after the meeting via email.

                                                Each Wednesday after the May Club meeting, two more of the ten clues will be emailed out to all members.  In other words, two clues will be sent out on Wednesday, May 19th, May 26th, June 2nd, June 9th and the last two clues on June 16th, which is the night of our club meeting in June.

                                                 
                                                Rules:

                                                You can only take three (3) photos of the subject.  Of the three (3) photos you take, select the best photo for submission in the contest.  You are on the honor system to take only 3 photos.

                                                You can use any form of digital manipulation, i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, HDR etc.

                                                Photos must be printed, size 5x7.  No larger or smaller.

                                                Photos may be turned in at either the June or July monthly club meetings.  No late submissions will be allowed.  Wednesday, July 21st will be the last time photos will be accepted for the contest.

                                                Individual 6X9 inch manila clasp envelopes will be available at the June and July club meetings for you to put your photos in.  Write your name on the outside of the envelope and give it to me, Flo Womacks.

                                                 On the back of the photo, please print clearly the following:

                                                          An arrow indicating which way is up.

                                                          Full first and last name.

                                                          Date when photo was taken.

                                                          Where the photo was taken.

                                                Again, please print clearly so that we can read the information.

                                                Awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting in August.

                                                Depending on the participation, there will be a ribbon awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each of the 10 subjects.

                                                In addition there will be a grand prize for the overall winner.
