July Challenge Glitch: Due to a glitch (man-made) in my wireless network and computer system, several f-64 July submissions for the July Challenge were not received by me and thus not posted on our web site for voting purposes. I have since restored my system and recovered the missing files and images. I accept full responsibility for this issue and will answer any and all questions at our Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony next Wednesday.
I have asked Joel add the missing images to the July Challenge and to mix all of the images up. I have wiped the slate clean and am starting the July Challenge over. Voting will be extended for the July f-64 Challenge until Midnight, Sunday July 19th to reflect these changes. Please take the time over the next week to revisit our website re-cast your ballots at:
August f-64 Challenge: In the meantime please consider entering the August f-64 Challenge. The theme for the month of August is “COLOR”. Image editing is permitted. The deadline for submitting images for the August Challenge is August 31st at Midnight. Your August images can now be uploaded directly from the f-64 page on our web site or you can continue sending them directly to me at:
I will acknowledge each and every entry submitted to the f-64 Challenge and if at any time you do not received a reply from me within 36 - 48 hours of your submission please follow up with an inquiry to either me (1st choice) or to our web master, Joel Hall. This is how we were able to identify and correct the July issues and with your help hopefully, avoid making this mistake again in the future.
Shutterbug Newsletter: I anticipate distributing the next issue of the Shutterbug Newsletter late Sunday.
Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony: I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony this coming Wednesday at Waterside.
I apologize to all for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding in these matters.
