been invited to take part in the Spring Craft Market, March 15-17, 2013 at the
Virginia Beach Convention Center. We will be participating in the Heritage
Collection Area, a showcase of on-going craft demonstrations by local guides.
This hugely successful program increases awareness in the continued spirit and
the preservation of traditional American Crafts. This reserved area is intended
for the demonstration of traditional craft methods, to educate the public about
local guilds, and to encourage the sale of American handmade crafts.

An update on GIMP…evidently I did not do “Due Diligence” in putting
together my quick notes on GIMP. Mark Freeman updated my information and…there
is a Mac version which will run on Mac (OSX) as well as Linux and several other
systems. The better link to GIMP is as follows:
Here is the official GIMP
web site: http://www.gimp.org.
download page is: http://www.gimp.org/downloads.
"show other downloads" link in the middle of the page to see everything,
including manuals a
couple dozen languages.
An interesting side note is
that GIMP is used extensively by the rocket scientists at places like NASA, JPL
and CalTech to process and edit their astronomical images.
