I've had the good fortune to travel to many places during the course of my graduate studies.  With camera gear always in tow, I've had some remarkable opportunities to photograph remote—and sometimes obscure—locations.  Overall, I would say that composition and story-telling are very important to me and my photographic style.  I have a particular interest in documenting the lives of stray dogs around the world (mostly because they don't require model releases), with a hope of some day publishing a book titled "Dogs of the world" that tells their stories.  Periodically, I host photo event fund raisers for animal rescue groups in Hampton Roads that to date have helped raise over$1000 for homeless dogs right here in our own back yard.
