5pm - 8:30pm(ish)
Description: Trash the Dress photoshoot with models on the beach.
Location: Lynnhaven Boat Ramp & Beach, 3576 Piedmont Circle, Virginia Beach, VA 23455- 2920
Cost: Metered Parking, bring at least $1
Contact: Florence Womacks, flohrdshutterbug@gmail.com
Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of
wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in
which it is out of place. It is generally shot in the style of fashion and glamour
photography. A model often wears a ball gown , prom dress or wedding dress ,
and may effectively ruin the dress in the process by getting it wet, dirty or in
extreme circumstances tearing or destroying the garment. I have arranged 6+
models to participate in this event, with the help of Joel Hall.
I picked this location due to the location, large parking lot and it having
bathrooms so the models can change into.
I am up to 6+ models now and will welcome more. I do request models are 18
and over unless accompanied by parent/guardian OR written permission from
parent/guardian.
Whatever you have in mind for "Trash the Dress" bring them. Just keep it safe,
no fires! Lol!
